Disciplined mode switching
/fein runs the full pipeline, /sonar is research only, /blitz is fast implementation, /mode-clear resets neutral; each enables its specialists and tool gates.
Role-neutral child trust
Delegated children are read/research/inspection-only; they cannot write, execute code, shell, delegate, or invoke OpenCode.
Trusted coding path
Code changes and opencode_route (when the OpenCode CLI is installed) run in a trusted top-level fein session.
Self-contained plugin
No startup probes for external tools. Hermes discovers its hooks, commands, and skills from plugin.yaml.
Advisory review
Hermes has no native review gate; the reviewer pass validates output as guidance, not an enforced gate.
